Chinese New Year is less than two weeks away – and what better way to celebrate than with some Chinese music?
We caught up with Grammy-winning conductor Muhai Tang, who is conducting the Shanghai Chinese Orchestra in a special performance at London’s Barbican Hall on Wednesday 7th February at 7.30pm.
The orchestra features players of traditional Chinese musical instruments and a team of highly talented soloists who will be performing at the Barbican. Established in 1952, the orchestra has developed the careers of many young musical talents and is hugely popular with Chinese and international audiences.
