We see you there, Instagramming your avocado toast! It’s hard to avoid stereotypes of millenials in the UK media - but what about in China?

The world’s most populous country has its fair share of twentysomethings (over 400 million, in fact) with different tastes and habits from previous generations.

To find out more about them, we caught up with Ji Bo, the Assistant Dean for Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business, a TED speaker and a sought-after expert on business and entrepreneurship in China.

By looking at research from some of China’s business leaders, such as online retailer JD.com, Bo highlights some key trends on what Chinese millenials like to buy – and how that reflects their priorities in life.
