Further pressure is being added to Britain's membership in the single market, as HSBC warns they would move employees to France if no deal is met.
The BBC understands that those already processing payments in Euros at the Canary Wharf offices may be forced to up and leave to Paris.
The fear is many businesses may move operations outside the UK if restricted access to the European Union is put in place.
London Mayor, Sadiq Khan recently declared, "Leaving the single market of 500 million people – with its free-trade benefits – would be a mistake. I will be pushing the government to ensure this is the cornerstone of the negotiations with the EU."
