An exhibition of China's finest sculptural artists is coming to the UK.
A raft of Chinese contemporaries will showcase a series of outdoor sculptures and multimedia art at the Cass Sculpture Foundation in West Sussex in July.
The Foundation is one of the countries leading establishments for sculptural work - displaying pieces from some of the most important figures in the contemporary art world.
Visitors of the exhibition, A Beautiful Disorder, will be taken through a journey of China's past, present and future through commissioned work. Using ambitious techniques and materials such as bronze, stone, steel and wood.
The body of work considers the relationship between the East and West, reflecting on their similar landscapes yet opposing cultural standpoints. The overall aim is to provide a valuable insight into the state of Chinese culture, politics and society today from the perspective of some of its most dynamic and engaging artists.
Those taking part include Chinese multimedia artist Cao Fei. The Guangzhou native is hailed as one of the countries leading visionaries with work shown at the Tate Modern, Frieze art festival and the Guggenheim museum.
Her work is currently being showcased alongside other leading Chinese artists at the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris alongside virtuoso Ai Weiwei.
The exhibition begins next month within the grounds and galleries of the Cass Sculpture Foundation with free admission.
