China Dominates in Diving, Again

China dominated in the pool yesterday taking home their second gold medal for synchronised diving.

Last night it was the men's turn to shine as Lin Yue and Chen Aisen secured the top spot in an almost faultless display throughout to grab the 10m platform title.

Britain's Tom Daley and his partner Daniel Goodfellow couldn't even come close to China's benchmark of 496.98, taking them 52 points clean ahead of the pair. They were, however, elated to claim a bronze medal behind team USA in second.

Wu Minxia and Shi Tingmao earned China their first diving gold medal in the games on Sunday afternoon, gaining Wu the title of most decorated diver in Olympic history for receiving the most golds by an individual.

The 30 year old and partner Shi will take on the Women's synchronised 10m platform tonight with high hopes after securing golds in the last two Olympic games in the event.
