Super League set to Attract Top Football Stars

A senior figure in Chinese football has forecast that a growing number of top international footballers will move to Super League clubs.

Sky Sports reports that Eric Gao, who works closely with several clubs in China, stated that ''the players will make more money at Chinese clubs.''

The news comes as the Daily Mail claims that Chinese teams have held meetings with Manchester City about transfers and branding.

Eric Gao's comments reflect Brazilian star Hulk's signing by Sven-Gorran Eriksson's Shanghai SIPG.

The club paid £45.7 million to transfer the player from St. Petersburg, a record for the Asian market.
